The total investment typically ranges between €500,000 and €750,000 and includes franchise fees, equipment, initial inventory, working capital, and other operating costs.
The exact figures are highly location-dependent (city center vs. shopping center vs. drive-thru). We will prepare a detailed calculation for your specific location in a personal consultation.

We recommend equity capital of at least €200,000 to €400,000. This will not only allow you to finance your first restaurant, but also provide financial stability during the start-up phase and the opportunity for future expansion. Thanks to the business lease model, where KFC finances the construction, the capital requirement is lower than with many other franchise systems.

Site selection is carried out by our professional development department according to scientific criteria: catchment area analysis, demographic data, pedestrian and traffic volume, competitive landscape, visibility, and accessibility. We focus on city centers, shopping centers, drive-thru locations, and transport hubs.
Each location is thoroughly examined to ensure optimal chances of success.

Experience in the food service industry is advantageous, but not essential. More important are management skills, entrepreneurial competence, and a willingness to learn intensively. Our comprehensive training program teaches you everything you need to know about operations, food safety, team management, and customer service. Many of our most successful partners come from other industries and bring valuable perspectives.

From initial contact to opening, the process typically takes 4 to 6 months. This includes qualification (1-2 weeks), discovery visit (1-2 months), due diligence and contract negotiation (2-4 months), and training and preparation (4-6 weeks).
For locations that are already available, the process can be accelerated. We place great importance on thorough preparation to guarantee a successful launch.

The ongoing fees consist of a franchise fee (a percentage of revenue) and a marketing fee for national and regional campaigns. The exact terms and conditions are detailed in the franchise agreement and communicated transparently in a personal consultation. These fees guarantee you comprehensive support, brand usage, and central services.
